Summer at Tahiti Village is always something special, but this year felt like one for the books. From new experiences to beloved traditions making their return, there was no shortage of memories made this season. Here is a look back at everything that made this summer so unforgettable.

Tahitian Nights Made Its Debut

One of the biggest highlights of the summer was the introduction of Tahitian Nights, our brand new complimentary Thursday evening event for guests and owners. The night kicks off at Manihi Isle with the return of our beloved Po Makeke Polynesian Night Market, where guests browse island-inspired goods and soak in the festive atmosphere. Later in the evening, the excitement builds even further as everyone gathers at the main pool for a breathtaking fire dancer performance by Hot Lava Productions. Watching families and couples experience it together each week has been one of our favorite parts of the season.

Good Food, Good Vibes, and Plenty of Poolside Moments

Some of the best summer memories are often the simplest ones!

This year, guests quickly fell in love with the new tacos and fresh lemonades at Olioli, which became a go-to poolside pairing throughout the season. Along with signature cocktails from the pool bar and the always-popular Dole Whips, there were plenty of opportunities to enjoy a treat between lazy river floats and afternoons in the sun.

Love, Mermaids, and the Lazy River

Summer brought some of the most memorable moments of the year. Guests had the chance to meet real-life mermaids at the Main Pool, where story times and poolside games added a little extra magic to summer afternoons. We also hosted two special vow renewal ceremonies, bringing together couples and families for celebrations filled with music, refreshments, and plenty of aloha.

And of course, no summer at Tahiti Village would be complete without spending every possible moment floating down the lazy river! 🌴️

Every Thursday evening this summer, something magical happens at Tahiti Village Resort & Spa. 5:30 PM – The Po Makeke Market Opens

The evening kicks off at Manihi Isle, our beautiful outdoor space nestled right between the main pool and the lazy river. Starting at 5:30 PM, the Po Makeke Polynesian Market comes to life with a curated selection of local vendors bringing island-inspired goods right to you.

Browse handcrafted treats from Sweet Kings Vegas, or let the kids get a stunning henna design from Desert Flower Henna. Looking for something to take home? Pretty Ululani brings beautiful island-inspired pieces that make for the perfect keepsake. The market carries on throughout the entire evening, so there is plenty of time to explore, shop, and soak in the atmosphere with the whole family.

7:30 PM – The Fire Show Begins

Just as the sky begins to glow, make your way to the main pool for the moment everyone has been waiting for. At 7:30 PM, Hot Lava Productions takes the stage for their breathtaking Tahitian Nights fire show, and this is not your average performance.

The energy is electric, the fire is mesmerizing, and the best part? Your family gets to be part of it. Kids and adults alike are invited to come up and dance alongside our hula dancers, making it an interactive experience that goes far beyond just watching. It’s a lively celebration that brings everyone together and adds a little extra magic to your trip.

The show wraps up at 8:30 PM, giving families a perfect ending to a beautiful summer evening in Vegas.

Every Sunday at 11am, guests can head to the sand-entry pool to catch the show. With shimmering tails, playful moments, and an interactive atmosphere, it is an easy way to turn a pool day into something truly memorable during your Las Vegas getaway.

Seeing the mermaids glide through the water is captivating on its own, but what truly sets this experience apart is the chance to interact. Kids can meet mermaids like mermaid Nami, who brings a fin-tastic energy to every appearance.

Summer brought back one of our most beloved traditions: the Polynesian Luau with Hot Lava Productions. The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden is a free attraction that displays beautiful flowers, trees, walkways, bridges, and plants of all varieties. Every season the theme of the botanical garden changes into an amazing new floor to ceiling display. This season guests can see the holiday display between November 20th 2021 – January 1st 2022. The Fountains at The Bellagio also have Holiday themed performances every year. The water show features Christmas music and is held from December 5 2021 – January 3, 2022!

Ethel M Chocolate Factory has an amazing 3-acre botanical cactus garden full of beautiful types of cacti including agave, prickly pear, and aloe plants. During the holiday season, Ethel M Chocolate Factory decorates the cactus garden in beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. Walking around the cactus garden is free for guests. Ethel M chocolates are also the perfect gift for friends and family this holiday season. Delight in a gourmet variety of caramels, brittles, and all different flavors of chocolate. The Las Vegas Speedway hosts Glittering Lights – A Drive-Thru Lights Show from November 12th 2021 until January 9th, 2022! Guests can buy tickets and drive through the lights show, admiring and experiencing the holiday themed lights show. Glittering Lights is the perfect holiday activity for the whole family. Guests will enjoy the warmth and comfort of their car, and the glittering and beautiful lights outside as they drive through the show. Christmas is all about Giving

Opportunity Village is a self-funded foundation that raises money through donations with partners to fund events such as the Magical Forest. Opportunity Village runs the Magical Forest as a fundraiser for their main cause, which is helping children and adults with disabilities find work so they can live the fullest lives possible. Magical Forest has been in operation for 30 years in Las Vegas and is a fun and exciting winter wonderland for all ages! Drink hot cocoa, enjoy amusement rides, and see all that this winter wonderland has to offer! Ring in the New Year at Tahiti Village

Grab a bottle of your favorite champagne and enjoy the view from your cozy suite or guests can head up to our Tenth Floor balcony in tower 5! Tower 5 at Tahiti Village has a breath-taking view of the whole entire Strip. Hang out at our Tenth Floor balcony and get a panoramic view of all of the lights and fireworks celebrating the New Year. The Plaza hotel will have a firework show, along with fireworks being set off from the rooftops of the ARIA, the STRAT, Treasure Island, Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand, The Venetian, and Caesars Place! There will be over 80,000 fireworks explosions in the amazing New Year’s Eve show! See the whole show from the start of the Strip to the end of the Strip at our Balcony view. Watch the Bellagio Fountains:

A truly romantic and also free activity. Watch the synchronized music and water show from Las Vegas Boulevard. With the fountains being outside, there is plenty of fresh air and space to enjoy the show safely. The show typically plays every 30 minutes in the afternoon and every 15 minutes in the evening.

Paris Eiffel Tower light show:

Another fantastic free light show that all can enjoy. Walk over after watching the show at the fountains and enjoy the romantic Parisian lights. The show typically commences at sunset and plays about every 30 minutes

Take in the city lights from the High roller:

Take a 30 minute spin 550 feet above the strip in your own cabin. Each cabin provides a 360-degree view of the city. Tickets start at $20.50 per adult.

Float along the lazy river:

Grab your drink from 17 South and float along the lazy river. The river is heated to over 80 degrees in the winter.

Enjoy a gondola ride at the Venetian:

Cuddle up and cruise along the canals of the Venetian. Adding to the romance, each gondolier serenades you through the voyage. There are indoor and outdoor rides with tickets starting at $29.

Visit the Neon Museum:

Explore the signs of Las Vegas past and walk through the boneyard area. The boneyard is outside and has plenty of space to socially distance. Tickets start at $20.
