Gorgeous girls in coconut bras! Daring fire twirlers! A guy with a ukulele! Our Summer Sunday Luau Returns May 28!

Our signature summer event, the weekly Sunday luau, is a treat for the senses that divides along sight (attractive island dancers), sound (authentic Polynesian music) and taste (tempting tropical cuisine). This year’s luau, which begins another big season on May 28 here at Tahiti Village, is once again noteworthy for all three.

The Hot Lava singers, dancers, and musicians will thrill, delight, and whisk you away to a tropical paradise right here in the desert. Their island offerings include a mix of fun Polynesian songs and hula dances with audience participation. Things really heat up when a master fire twirler hits the stage. You’ll be on the edge of your seat!

This year’s Tahiti Village luau will have you saying “Hana Hou!”  Translation: One more time!

Join us every Sunday all summer long in our beautiful Island Courtyard for wonderful entertainment and a delicious Tahitian buffet. Doors open 6:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 7 p.m. Show to follow. Leis provided. Tropical shirts optional.

For current VIP and general admission pricing and to reserve your tickets, please call the concierge at (702) 440-6915 or visit the concierge desk in the main lobby. We hope to see you here!

How to plan your time off and boost your happiness

Research proves that Americans who take time to plan how they will use their vacation time in the year ahead are happier than those who do not. Simply having something to look forward to – like a trip to Tahiti Village! – improves your happiness. But nearly half of American households fail to take the simple step of planning their time off, a step that can be made much easier by having a timeshare.

Here are some simple steps from our friends at Vacation Better to make sure that you don’t make the mistake of not using all of your vacation time:

First, confirm your paid time off benefits. Don’t take someone else’s word for it, confirm what you have available by asking your manager or HR director. After this is accomplished, the next important step is to review your calendar for the year to see when you could actually take a vacation.

Now, the fun part: this is where your dreams and goals come in. What are you going to cross off your bucket list this year? Where have you been wanting to travel? What are you dying to try? You don’t necessarily need to know what you’ll do with every vacation day—just plan the days off now. Getting it on the calendar is what matters most.

Finally, it is time to talk with your boss and colleagues about your plans to take time off. But don’t be anxious: nearly all senior business leaders believe vacation time benefits their employees – and the company.

It’s time to stop feeling guilty about trying to take a vacation each year and remember there are many health and wellness benefits that come along with an annual vacation. You work hard all year, you deserve to have some well-earned, time off. With a timeshare you are ensuring that you take a vacation each year since it is already prepaid!

The following week’s, on June 5, attracted another large crowd to the Island Courtyard, where attendees enjoyed a delicious Polynesian buffet and authentic island music and dance from Hot Lava. Our popular summer luau is 7 p.m. every Sunday through Labor Day. Don’t miss it!

luau at tahiti village

The stage is set for the first Summer Sunday Luau of 2014 and the fifth anniversary of our signature event

Sunday marks the fifth year of our popular luau. To commemorate the special anniversary of our signature summer event, we’ve built a decorative volcano and adorned the stage with tropical foliage and tiki statues of fearsome Polynesian warriors. We admit these additions don’t quite reach the level of last year’s major announcement, when we told you we were moving the luau to a new location and day and adding a third main course. That one was tough to beat. However, in keeping with our tradition of giving you all the news on your vacation club, no matter how significant, well, here you have it – new stage decorations. Pretty cool though, huh?

The luau is 7 p.m. in the Island Courtyard every Sunday through Labor Day weekend. Owner pricing is as follows:

General Admission

Adults: $29.99 / $34.04 including all taxes
Children: $15.99 / $18.40 including all taxes
