4th of July in Las Vegas

July 4th Fireworks To Light Up The Night Sky Over Vegas

Fireworks in a place like Las Vegas would seem to be almost beside the point if the city itself weren’t a testament to excess. Not enough neon? Hey, let’s set off some sky explosions! Like New Year’s Eve, July 4th brings out our redundant, over-the-top best, with spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the night sky all over the valley.

This year is no different. By our count there are 11 fireworks shows scheduled for Independence Day night. So if you’re staying with us over the holiday and looking to bring in the 4th with a bang, you’re in luck. But where can you watch? Don’t worry; we’ve taken care of the details. Please click here for a list of all the locations offering firework shows, either for free or a fee.

We wish you a happy and safe Fourth!

Vegas Fireworks 2013

As many of you know, Skyview 510, our 10th floor lounge at the top of Tower 5, offers a panoramic view of the Strip. The balcony is a great location from which to view the radiant evening skyline of Las Vegas. This is especially true on New Year’s Eve, when fireworks dot the night sky with wondrous and colorful explosions in an extended eight-minute demonstration of shock and awe. If you’re staying with us this New Year’s Eve and want to catch the display without fighting the Strip crowd, Skyview 510 offers the perfect vantage point. Take the elevator to the 10th floor of Tower 5 and marvel at the spectacular midnight fireworks display that harkens the arrival of 2014. It’s one of the best shows in Las Vegas.

Pay a visit to this year’s San Gennaro Feast. You’ll know you’re there when you smell the sausage and peppers!

Consider yourself so very lucky if a portion of your visit this year coincides with the dates of the San Gennaro Feast, an annual celebration that ostensibly honors a saint but is generally patronized for the food. If you are here May 8-12, you owe it to yourself to attend this yearly festival. The San Gennaro Feast has delectable Italian dishes, great entertainment and a variety of games and amusement rides for the entire family. And it’s just 10 miles from Tahit Village at 4245 S. Grand Canyon Drive. The San Gennaro Feast, which honors Saint Gennaro (or Januarius), the patron saint of Naples, is one of the premier events on the Las Vegas social calendar. It is a great attraction for locals and visitors alike, and with very affordable admission prices it is a great bargain as well. Don’t miss it! Click on the poster to be directed to the San Gennaro website for times, ticket prices and location.

Tahiti Village is the midpoint resort for Ragnar Las Vegas

Tahiti Village is proud to be the official midpoint resort of the Ragnar Las Vegas relay race Nov. 9-10.  The overnight run begins at the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort on Mount Charleston and ends at Lake Mead, a circuitous 197.6 miles with your home resort right in the middle. Ragnar relay teams typically consist of 12 competitors who take turns running up to eight miles three times each, essentially passing one another off like human batons until the finish line.

The Ragnar Relay Series takes its name from King Ragnar, a marauding 9th century Norse hero who fearlessly explored and conquered new lands. Runners competing in Ragnar events share the same free-spirited sense of adventure.  For more infomation on the Ragnar Las Vegas race visit:
